BMW has unveiled a unique M6 Convertible for the 2015 MotoGP best qualifier.

While the company didn't have much to say about the car, it features a Frozen Blue Metallic exterior with 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.  The model also has Opal White Merino leather upholstery and BMW Individual Ash Grain White wood trim.

Power is provided by a 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine that develops 560 PS (412 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque.  It is connected to a double-clutch transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, before hitting a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

According to BMW's Axel Mittler, "For the 2015 season we opted for our new BMW M6 Convertible, which enjoyed its world premiere at the Detroit Auto Show in January. We now have our fingers crossed for all MotoGP riders in the race for this year’s BMW M Award.”
