According to a new report, the next generation Toyota Hilux will make its official debut on May 21.
Following the fully revealing images from last week, we heard the 2016 Hilux will be officially revealed on May 21. Sales of the model in Thailand and other Asian markets will start later this year.
The new pickup will receive LED daytime running lights, wider fenders, new alloy wheels, chrome door handles and mirror caps. The interior will gain a tablet-like touchscreen display and a revised dashboard.
As we have already informed you, the new Hilux will be
offered with a new 2.4-liter turbodiesel with 150 PS (111 kW) and 167 PS (123
kW), along with a beefier 2.8-liter turbodiesel with 177 PS (130 kW).
