Mercedes-Benz has introduced a series of new alloy wheels for its model lineup

Mercedes-Benz has introduced a series of new alloy wheels for its model lineup.

The German company explains “the trend for the summer 2015” is “big wheels with fine details” and also adds that the new wheels “enhance the appearance of any vehicle while lending an added touch of sportiness and elegance.”

The C-Class and the GLA get new sets of 18- and 19-inch five-spoke wheels, while the A-Class, the CLA Shooting Brake and the E-Class receive 18- and 19-inch 5-twin-spoke wheels. The bigger models, such as the GLE, the S-Class, the SL-Class and the V-Class can now be equipped with 10-spoke wheels in sizes from 18 to 21 inch.

Mercedes-Benz says their light-alloy wheels not only enhance the vehicle's looks, but also offer an "extremely high level of safety". All the wheels have been "precisely configured for the vehicle models with respect to permissible loads and dimensions".
