Ford has released detailed performance specifications for the Euro-spec Mustang.

Set to become the "fastest accelerating high-volume Ford model ever offered in Europe," the Mustang can be equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 421 PS (309 kW) and 530 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque.  When connected to a six-speed manual transmission, the model accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.

Buyers looking for something more fuel-efficient can opt for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine which produces 317 PS (233 kW) and 432 Nm (318 lb-ft) of torque.  It enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and return up to 8.0 L/100 km (35.3 mpg UK).

Speaking of performance, all Euro-spec Mustangs will come with a Performance Pack that includes high-performance brakes and an upgraded cooling system.  The model will also have four Selectable Drive Modes - with Normal, Sport+, Track and Snow/Wet settings - and an optional Launch Control system.

The Mustang also comes nicely equipped with automatic HID headlights, a rear diffuser and 19-inch alloy wheels.  Other notable features include a dual-zone climate control, a nine-speaker audio system, SYNC and an infotainment system with an 8-inch display.

Ford Europe has already received more than 2,200 pre-orders for the model and the first European deliveries are slated for July (October in the U.K.).
