The driver of a Porsche 997 Turbo miraculously survived after crashing at around 250 km/h (155 mph), according to local media.
It happened several days ago on the Outer Ring Road expressway in the City of Hyderabad, Telangana, India when a previous generation Porsche 911 Turbo started aquaplaning while doing approximately 250 km/h (155 mph) and the driver wasn't able to control the car anymore. Shortly after the brutal impact with the barrier, the car caught fire but somehow the driver managed to get out of the burning vehicle and escaped only with some minor injuries.
Behind the wheel was owner and businessman R Ravi Kumar of Shaikpet who was heading to the airport to meet with his cousin. It is believed this was the only Porsche 997 Turbo with this color in India and judging by the intensity of the damages it's beyond repair now.
