Based on the 2011-2014 Ford SVT Raptor, the Baja 700 features a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with more than 700 bhp.
Shelby American has introduced their new Baja 700.
Based on the 2011-2014 Ford SVT Raptor, the Baja 700 has a modestly revised exterior with hood stripes and special edition graphics. The truck also has a front skid plate and 18-inch wheels with BFGoodrich K02 All-Terrain tires. Customers can also order Rogue Racing bumpers, LED lights and power deployable side steps.
The interior largely carries over but features Katzkin leather seats, a three-gauge dash pod, an individually-number dash plaque and special floor mats.
Bigger changes occur under the hood as the 6.2-liter V8 engine has been equipped with new fuel injector, larger throttle bodies, a Borla exhaust and a 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger. Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops more than 700 bhp (522 kW).
The truck also features Rouge Racing control arms and a "competition" suspension with bypass rear shocks and 3" King coilovers.
Production will be limited to 50 units and pricing starts at $45,000 - excluding the cost of the base Raptor.
