Nissan has released a double teaser for the Lannia production version which will be revealed in full later this month at Auto Shanghai 2015.

It was approximately two years ago when Nissan took the wraps off the Friend-ME concept which evolved into the attractive Lannia concept in 2014. Now, time has almost come for Nissan to show the production-ready model which design-wise will probably have a lot in common with the recently introduced 2016 Maxima. They say it represents the company's first ever model designed for China's youth generation and will have a "muscular and dynamic" exterior with a V-motion front grille and boomerang headlights.

The mid-size sedan will probably be unveiled on April 20 during the first press day of Auto Shanghai 2015 and will go on sale in the second half of the year. Chances are the Lannia will be available exclusively in China, even though last year we heard Nissan's former chief product planning officer Andy Palmer (now CEO at Aston Martin) saying the vehicle has global potential.
