Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann has downplayed the possibility of introducing a new entry-level model to slot below the Huracan.

In an interview with Car & Driver, Winkelmann said the company isn't planning to enter the highly competitive segment of supercars that cost less than $200,000.  However, he hinted the company could introduce more affordable derivatives in the future.

Speaking of the future, Winkelmann reiterated that the Urus concept hasn't been approved for production and the Asterion concept was purely a "technology demonstrator" so there is no plans for a production variant.
