Tanner Foust has unveiled his new Volkswagen Passat drift machine.

Set to be used in Formula Drift, the one-off model has a fairly restrained exterior with a Rockstar livery and an APR Performance rear wing.  The car also has five-spoke KMC wheels with Nitto NT05 max performance tires.

The stripped out interior goes a step further as it has Recaro seats and a Sparco steering wheel.  There's also a chrome-moly roll cage and a Plex SDM-500 digital instrument cluster.

Power is provided by a 450 cubic inch V8 engine that produces approximately 700 bhp (522 kW) or 900 bhp (671 kW) on nitrous.  It is connected to a G-Force GSR four-speed transmission which sends power to the rear wheels.
