Mazda is presenting this week in New York a limited-run Launch Edition of the fourth generation MX-5.

Joining the MX-5 Club version in NY, the Launch Edition will be limited to the first 1,000 units commercialized in U.S. and all cars are going to be based on the Grand Touring version with a Soul Red exterior combined with a Sport Tan leather interior which represents a combination exclusive to this model.

It comes generously equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control system, heated seats and a nine-speaker Bose sound system. Also part of the deal are i-ACTIVSENSE safety technologies such as lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert as well as automatic high-beam control.

Owners of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Launch Edition will also be pampered with SiriusXM satellite radio, infotainment system with navigation and a Mazda-branded Bose SoundLink mini Bluetooth speaker bundled with a gift box as well as several items from Mazda's upcoming Heritage Collection apparel line.

Mazda is already taking preorders for the MX-5 Launch Edition and those who are interested will have to place a $500 deposit, with pricing to be disclosed at a later date.
