After last week’s announcement, Mazda has introduced the 2016 MX-5 Miata Club at the New York Auto Show.

This higher specification variant of the fourth generation roadster brings a limited-slip differential when the model is equipped with the manual gearbox along with 17-inch gunmetal alloys shod in 205/45 R17 tires. Also exclusively for the manual version, Mazda is adding a shock tower brace and Bilstein shocks while front air dam and rear lip spoilers are part of the deal as well regardless of gearbox choice.

Moreover, the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club can be equipped with an optional package bringing Brembo front brakes, 17-inch forged lightweight BBS wheels and functional aerodynamic side sill extensions together with a rear bumper skirt as seen on the MX-5 Global Cup racecar.

As standard, the upper-spec MX-5 gets a 7-inch touchscreen display, two USB ports, nine-speaker Bose sound system (with headrest speakers) and piano black side mirrors. It also benefits from a multi-function commander control and provides support for HD and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.
