McLaren's sales and marketing boss has revealed the company will not offer a crossover.

Speaking to CarAdvice, Joylon Nash said “I am sure there is growth opportunity in the segment but that’s not McLaren."  He went on to say they forced on high-performance sports cars and a crossover is "unimaginable" at this point in time.

While we shouldn't expect to see a McLaren crossover anytime soon, the company's head of development said a four-seater isn't out of the question.  However, Mark Vinnels noted the model would have to be "justified" and handle like a proper McLaren.
