A brand new McLaren 675LT (Long Tail) was spotted in the La Bisbal del Penedès village in Catalonia, Spain.

Offered only as a coupe, the long-tailed 675 sits on top of McLaren's Super Series range and will be available in only 500 units. The model was unveiled earlier this month at the Geneva Motor Show and comes with some important upgrades over the 650S Coupe. It's not only 100 kg (220 lbs) lighter at 1,230 kg (2,711 lbs), but also more powerful as the twin-turbo V8 3.8-liter has gained an extra 25 HP (18 kW) and 22 Nm (16 lb-ft) for a grand total of 675 HP (496 kW) and 700 Nm (517 lb-ft) of torque.

Thanks to the additional power wrapped around in a lighter body, the McLaren 675LT will run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in just 2.9 seconds, representing a 0.1s decrease compared to the 650S. Moreover, the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) run now takes 7.9 seconds which is half a second less than before. Due to the more aerodynamic body tailored to quicker accelerations, top speed has decreased by 2 mph (3 km/h) to 205 mph (330 km/h).
