A brand new Audi R8 V10 Plus painted in Vegas Yellow is currently being displayed in Germany at Audi Forum Neckarsulm.

Earlier this week we saw an S8 facelift in Ipanema Brown Metallic at the same location and now a second generation R8 V10 Plus in Vegas Yellow is being showcased, allowing us to take a better look at the evolutionary and sharpened design.

This range-topping version costs €187,400 and comes with a variety of enhancements compared to the standard €165,000 R8 V10. Both share the same 5.2-liter V10 FSI engine but in the regular model it develops 540 HP & 540 Nm whereas in Plus guise it churns 610 HP & 560 Nm channeled to a quattro all-wheel drive system through a seven-speed S tronic gearbox. The more expensive version is also considerably lighter, tipping the scales at 1,454 kg (3,205 lbs) compared to the standard R8 which weighs 1,555 kg (3,428 lbs).

The Audi R8 V10 Plus comes standard with carbon ceramic brakes, 20-inch wheels and clear-coated carbon fiber front splitter, diffuser and side blades along with a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) rear wing. In terms of performance, the supercar from Ingolstadt needs 3.2 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) and will top out at 205 mph (330 km/h).

Audi has announced sales of the R8 V10 and R8 V10 Plus will commence this summer while the fully electric R8 e-tron will be available later this year.
