Holden has taken the wraps off the limited edition Sandman Ute and Sportwagon.

Based on the VF Commodore SV6 and SS-V, the 2015 Sandman is a throwback to the original model which was launched in 1974 and quickly embraced by surfers and hippies.

The Sandman package costs $2,950 AUD and includes a black grille, black fender vents and retro-inspired body stripes.  The model also has 20-inch alloy wheels with a gloss black finish.

Interior changes are relatively limited but include special floor mats and "Sandman" stitching on the dashboard. Customers can also order optional orange sheep skin seat inserts and an orange shag pile rug for the Sportwagon.
