X-Tomi Design transformed the Aston Martin Thunderbolt concept into a convertible worthy of the "Volante" suffix.

Henrik Fisker unveiled the Aston Martin Vanquish-based Thunderbolt concept recently at the 2015 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance and now X-Tomi Design has decided to chop off the roof to turn the coupe into a cabriolet. At the moment it's unclear whether the former Aston Martin designer is preparing a Volante version of his Thunderbolt concept but we do know the coupe will actually enter limited production series and the cars will be made by Galpin Aston Martin.

Compared to the standard Vanquish, the Thunderbolt coupe went through a comprehensive makeover by receiving a new body, 15mm lowered suspension and bespoke 21-inch rims. It also gained redesigned headlights and taillights along with some cabin enhancements such as an 11.6-inch Panasonic Curved Control Screen and even a champagne bottle holder.
