A DeLorean DMC-12 in excellent condition is being sold by V8 Werk in Bärenstein, Germany.

Famous primarily for its role as a time machine in the "Back to the Future" movie franchise, the DeLorean DMC-12 features a stainless steel body with gullwing doors and a fiberglass underbody. Less than 9,000 units were ever made during the model's production run between 1981 and 1983 at a factory located southwest of Belfast, Northern Ireland.

One of the last cars assembled is now available for €56,900 and judging by the attached images it seems to be in great condition for a car which is 32 years old. The seller says more than €15,000 have been invested during restoration, including a new braking system, door seals and an AC compressor.

This particular DMC-12 was driven for just 13,183 miles (21,215 km) and has the original rear-mounted V6 2.8-liter engine developing 129 bhp (96 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 207 Nm (153 lb-ft) at 2,750 rpm. It’s the version equipped with a five-speed manual gearbox, but DeLorean also sold the model with a three-speed automatic transmission.
