A mint condition 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB was sold at RM Auctions Sotheby's Amelia Island for $682,000.
The black 599 GTB Fiorano is one of the only 20 cars sold in United States with a manual gearbox and it covered less than 3,800 miles (6,115 km) since it was purchased by the original owner back in 2007. Power comes from a V12 6.0-liter engine delivering 620 HP (456 kW) at 7,600 rpm and 608 Nm (448 lb-ft) of torque at 5,600 rpm.
This hardware arrangement allows the 599 GTB hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 3.7 seconds while the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) sprint takes 11 seconds before hitting a top speed of more than 205 mph (330 km/h).
This particular car comes with 20-inch monolithic Challenge wheels, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, carbon ceramic disc brakes coupled to red calipers, along with a Bose sound system and Daytona seats. RM Auctions says the previous owner bought it in November 2009 and kept it in a climate-controlled collection.
