The new Mercedes-Benz has been snapped almost fully disguised while testing in Germany.

We have new pictures of the next generation E-Class to share, showing the model will adopt the design language of the current C-Class and S-Class. At the source link below you can find a photo of the interior too, which also seems to be heavily influenced by the S-Class with its four round air vents and big screen for the infotainment system on the center console.

From what we know about the model so far, it will be based on the MRA platform that also underpins the C-Class. The vehicle will likely be offered with a new lineup of inline-six engines with displacements of up to 3.5 liters. Four-cylinder units and plug-in hybrid variant are also in the cards, as well as a range-topping E63 AMG, powered by the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 powerplant of the brand.
