German aftermarket specialist VÄTH has released a tuning package for the latest generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate (T-Model) .

The model of choice was a silver C180 which in its standard configuration packs a 156 HP (115 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) punch from its 1.6-liter turbocharged engine but after VÄTH made some upgrades they were able to squeeze 192 HP (141 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. The added oomph costs €2,011.10 (plus €297.50 mounting) and has enabled the tuned C-Class Estate reach a maximum speed of 140 mph (230 km/h), a little bit more than the standard version which tops out at 138 mph (223 km/h).

Aside from infusing more power into Daimler's compact wagon, VÄTH also installed a set of lowering springs (€345,10) which have brought the C-Class Estate closer to the road by 30mm. Stock wheels were replaced with titan color 20-inch alloys available as a set for €6,111.84 and there's also a €1,416.10 (plus €178.50 mounting) carbon fiber front spoiler. The rear end can host a €1,654.10 (plus €238 mounting) carbon diffuser along with a sports exhaust system with quad oval pipes priced at €2,011 and an additional €297.50 for installation.
