Following last month's online reveal, the third generation Skoda Fabia has arrived in Geneva in the more attractive Monte Carlo trim.

The all-new Superb is without any doubt Skoda's most interesting model on display these days in Geneva but the company is also showcasing another world premiere, the Fabia Monte Carlo, which adopts a sportier look inside the out as well as an optional sports suspension. It can be had in both hatchback and wagon versions which gain black exterior design elements and a selection of black 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels which are exclusive to this model.

In addition, the Fabia Monte Carlo comes with the SunSet package encompassing tinted rear side windows and rear window and a tinted panoramic glass roof. There are some changes inside as well where the cars get different sports seats, a black theme along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Skoda will offer the Fabia Monte Carlo with the same array of engines as the regular model so expect the 110 HP 1.2 TSI and 105 HP 1.4 TDI units to sit on top of the range.

As a final note, the VW-owned company is also showcasing in Geneva the Octavia RS 230 limited-run model and anniversary Edition versions of the Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and Yeti.
