Tata has unveiled its Hexa Concept at the Geneva Motor Show, previewing a future 6-seat SUV.

Featuring a modern and upscale design, the model manages to keep its identity without copying any of its European rivals, at least for the major parts of the body. The car based on the Aria platform that also underpins a pickup vehicle.

Power is provided by a 2.2-liter diesel engine with 154 HP (115 kW) and 400 Nm between 1,700 and 2,700 rpm and an optional all-wheel-drive system. Other features include an ESP, projector headlights, a set of 19-inch alloy wheels, 6-seat cabin configuration with leather upholstery, 6 airbags and auto lights and wipes.
