Mercedes-Benz has introduced the SL Special Edition Mille Miglia 417 in Geneva.
Available as a package for the SL400 and SL500, this special edition marks the 60th anniversary since an SL triumphed in its class at the Mille Miglia where legendary Stirling Moss took the overall win driving the 300 SLR. This special edition is actually not the first of its kind as back in 1995 the SL320 and SL500 of the R129 generation received a similar treatment.
It costs an extra €14,000 for the SL400 and €12,800 on the SL500, with both versions getting a bunch of cosmetic updates like the red accents on the front spoiler lip, rear apron, 19-inch front & 20-inch rear wheels as well as on the brake calipers. Moreover, the cars come with "Mille Miglia 417" lettering embossed on the headrests while red & matte carbon accents and black floor mats with red edging an "1000 Miglia" labels have been added to spice up the cabin.
Mercedes-Benz has announced they will start taking orders for the SL Special Edition Mille Miglia 417 on April 7.
