The 2015 Chevrolet Z06 has made its first European appearance more than a year after its official premiere.

The car received its debut during the 2014 NAIAS and will go on sale in Europe from this spring. The Euro-spec version has a German starting price of 99,500 EUR for the coupe and 104,500 EUR for the convertible. Compared to the 78,995 USD / 83,995 USD US version, the model is significantly more expensive on the Old continent.

The Corvette Z06 is powered by a newly developed V8 6.2-liter supercharged unit that is connected to a 7-speed manual transmission or an optional 8-speed automatic. The peak output of the engine is 659 HP (650 bhp / 485 kW), while the maximum torque stands at 881 Nm (650 lb-ft).

Chevrolet will offer the Performance Package for additional 16,500 EUR. The pack adds Brembo ceramic brakes, adjustable front and rear aerodynamic elements and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
