This 2015 Honda Civic Type R spy photo gives us a sneak peak at the production version of the Japanese company’s hot hatch, set for a Geneva debut next week.

The production Type R was teased earlier this month, while in January the manufacturer confirmed its premiere during the Geneva Motor Show. Now, mere days before the show in Switzerland, the vehicle was caught on camera showing an aggressive rear diffuser with quad pipe exhaust system and massive gloss black 19-inch alloy wheels.

The high-performance model will benefit from Brembo brakes with four-piston calipers and 350mm drilled discs at the front, a sports suspension and an +R button on the steering wheel that alters the response of the engine and steering. Details about the power unit are not official, but it will likely be a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with more than 280 HP (206 kW), which will accelerate the car up to 270 km/h (167 mph).
