GTPlanet has managed to obtain the first official design sketches with MINI's Vision Gran Turismo concept.
Designed exclusively for Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 6, the virtual concept appears to take the shape of a Clubman in the hotter John Cooper Works guise which will be available pretty soon as a free update. While the production car will have six doors, the concept seems to have a four-door layout, with two side ones and split rear doors.
The concept rides on a set of oversized multi-spoke alloy wheels and adopts a very aggressive body with a huge carbon fiber front splitter, dual vented hood, small carbon fiber side mirrors, dual tailgate-mounted rear spoiler, carbon fiber diffuser and a low roofline.
Images of the interior cabin are not available at this point but from what we have we do notice a pair of body-hugging bucket seats, a roll cage and some red accents.
Note: We assume the images that have the Gran Turismo 6 caption on the top left corner are in-game screenshots while the others are design sketches, hence the differences in design.
Special thanks go to Dino for sending us the tip!
