Radical Sportscars has announced plans to introduce the RXC Turbo 500 at the Geneva Motor Show.

Designed to take the RXC into "true hypercar territory," the upgrade package adds two Garrett GT28 turbochargers, high-performance fuel injectors an optimized intake manifold. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine also receives new fuel rails, a sports exhaust system and an optimized ECU - among other things.

Thanks to all these modifications, the car produces 530+ bhp (395 kW) and 481 lb-ft (651 Nm) of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 mph (0-161 km/h) in 6.8 seconds and have a power-to-weight ratio of over 462 bhp (344 kW) per tonne.

Radical also announced the RXC Turbo 500 to will attempt to set a new production car lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in August.
