Following a teaser released in December, KTM in collaboration with REITER Engineering are now previewing the X-BOW GTR designed for GT4 competitions.

Technical specifications are not available at this point but KTM says the X-BOW GTR will be available on order from April at a starting price of €139,000. Before opening the order books, KTM and REITER will conduct the first roll-out later this month while in March they plan the SRO Balance of Performance test.

KTM says many customer teams have already expressed their interest in buying the X-BOW GTR which will be eligible to participate in European GT4 Series as well as the Pirelli World Challenge Championships.

Reiter Engineering owner Hans Reiter declared the X-BOW GTR "features the most advanced racing technology, which is normally only the case in higher categories. And in matters of safety, the monocoque technology offers the most unique protection ever in this class up to this point in time." Moreover, he believes running costs will be kept "within encouraging limits."
