Following an interview with Bentley boss Wolfgang Duerheimer, Top Gear magazine estimates a Bentayga "Coupe" will be out towards the end of the decade.

About a month ago we heard Bentley saying a smaller crossover could be launched in the years to come to slot underneath the upcoming Bentayga. Now, company chief Wolfgang Duerheimer says a new model is indeed on the agenda and a decision regarding its type will be taken in the next year and a half.

He went on to specify they have to choose between two options: a derivative of an existing car or a new standalone fifth model. The model in question could be a coupe-styled Bentayga since Duerheimer said "the growing segment is SUVs. Convertibles are going down. Sports cars are going down. Saloons too."

Whatever it will be, this new Bentley model will likely be out around 2019 or 2020.
