The new Volvo XC90 has been spotted in a snowy European mountain.

Judging by the photos, which show a white example with ‘Test vehicle’ badges, they were probably taken during a customer’s test drive. One of the photos shows the Swedish vehicle posing next to its predecessor in the same color scheme.

Revealed back in August 2014, the XC90 went on sale in December last year. Initially it was offered with the D5 225 bhp (168 kW) and 470 Nm (347 lb-ft) diesel with all-wheel-drive system, the AWD T6 320 bhp (239 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) petrol unit and the AWD T8 plug-in hybrid with 400 bhp (298 kW) and 640 Nm (472 lb-ft). The Swedish company also announced that all 1,927 examples of the XC90 First Edition was sold out within 47 hours.
