Buick-GMC U.S. Vice President Duncan Aldred has revealed GMC will add at least one new model to their lineup.

Speaking with Wards Auto, Aldred suggested the mysterious vehicle could be introduced in approximately 12 months. The executive declined to say what the model is but previous reports have indicated the company could offer a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Trax.

In related news, the publication is reporting the next-generation GMC Acadia will be introduced in 2016 and be slightly smaller than its predecessor. While nothing is official, speculation suggests GM wants to reduce the Acadia's size to help distance it from the next-generation Buick Enclave.
