It's the end of the road for the Mazda 5 as Autocar is reporting the MPV will soon go out of production.

Citing unnamed company officials, the magazine is reporting the model is being be phased out and won't receive a successor. This isn't terribly surprising as a majority of consumers are buying crossovers instead of MPVs.

There's no word on when production will cease but the model is still available to order for the time being.
