Official images of the Opel Corsa OPC have hit the web ahead of an imminent reveal.

Technical specifications are not available at this point but we previously heard the hot hatch will get a four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine outputting 210 HP (154 kW) channeled to the front wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. The horespower figure matches that of the limited-run Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition which had a 280 Nm (206 lb-ft) torque but the number should rise to somewhere in the region of 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) for the Corsa E OPC.

The new Corsa OPC should prove to be quicker than the aforementioned Nürburgring Edition which needed 6.8 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) and topped out at 143 mph (230 km/h).

As a final note, the model is believed to be offered with an optional limited slip differential.
