The China-only 2015 Buick Excelle has been unveiled with some visual and mechanical tweaks.

Starting with the design, the vehicle has been equipped with new bumpers, new radiator grille and redesigned headlamps and taillights. The interior features a completely new dashboard with touchscreen display at the center, new dials and steering wheel.

The model will be launched in March with a new engine range. A 1.5-liter unit with 113 HP (83 kW) will serve as an entry-level option and will be offered with either a 5-speed or a 6-speed manual transmission. There’s also a 1.4-liter turbo petrol powerplant with 140 HP (103 kW) that will be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The vehicle also benefits from a new independent rear suspension.
