Gemballa has introduced their new GTP 720.
Based on the Porsche Panamera Turbo, the model has a twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 engine that has been upgraded to produce 720 PS (530 kW). This enables the hatchback to accelerate from accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 9.7 seconds and 0-300 km/h in 26.4 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).
If that's not impressive enough, Gemballa says the acceleration times have been slashed by 1, 3 and 33.6 seconds - respectively - compared to the standard model.
Gemballa didn't have much else to say about the model but confirmed the GTP 720 recently set a new acceleration record for "roadworthy cars of its weight category (approx. 2.3t)" and achieved the best lap time at Sachsenring in a "Panamera-based" model.
