The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG Sport Coupe has received a digital makeover suitable for its upcoming appearance in Jurassic World.

Several pre-production units of the original Mercedes-Benz ML appeared in the 1997 The Lost World: Jurassic Park movie and now the fourth installment of the series will be the host of several other cars featuring the three-pointed star logo. One of them will be the recently introduced GLE Coupe in the 450 AMG Sport trim which sits above the standard models but right below the fully-fledged AMG variant.

The vehicle has been envisioned by carwow in a suitable Jurassic Park theme with a yellow, green and red livery inspired by the Ford Explorer used in the first movie (1993). It has also received a roll cage, hardened steel slats to protect the windows while additional lower body cladding was added to shield the undercarriage when going over bumpy roads.

Up front there's a winch flanked by additional lighting while on the roof and the mirror caps there are extra lights to enhance visibility. A harpoon gun, chunky off-road tires with original ML wheels, +50mm increased suspension along with a spare tire complete the package for a rugged GLE developed to tackle dinosaurs.

As for the real deal, Mercedes-Benz says the car was hand-built specifically for the movie which is set to air on June 12 and among other vehicles will also feature a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6.
