Ford has released the first teaser video of the 2016 Focus RS, ahead of its unveiling on February 3rd.

Featuring a camouflaged prototype, the clip shows the car being put through its paces on a number of tracks.

While the video doesn't reveal much, the car is expected to feature a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that produces between 325-350 bhp (242-261 kW). It will reportedly be connected to a six-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system.

Additional information is limited but Ford has previously said the model will be a "no-compromise driver’s car that can deliver exceptional performance on the track when required while providing excellent every day driving." The company also confirmed it will be offered in "major markets around the world for the first time."
