Essentially a sporty wagon, the CLA Shooting Brake draws inspiration from the CLS Shooting Brake and features a large boot that holds up to 1,354 liters (47.8 cubic feet) of luggage.

Under the hood, a variety of engines are available including:

  • A 2.1-liter four-cylinder diesel with outputs of 136 PS (100 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque as well as 177 PS (130 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque
  • A 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol with outputs of 122 PS (90 kW) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque as well as 156 PS (115 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque
  • A 2.0-liter petrol with 211 PS (155 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque

Last but not least, there's a range-topping CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 360 PS (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

The CLA Shooting Brake is currently available to order and the first deliveries are slated for March.
