A brand new Lamborghini Veneno Roadster painted in white was recently introduced at the company's dealership in Hong Kong.
Described by Lamborghini as being an "open racing prototype", the Veneno Roadster is a limited-run exclusive model launched in 2013 as part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Production was capped at only 9 cars and each carried a staggering €3.3 million price tag. A white example was presented recently at a dealer in Hong Kong and will be exhibited starting today until January 29 at Lamborghini Pop Up display at KCP Auto Plaza.
Hiding underneath the striking design is the Aventador Roadster but output of the V12 6.5-liter naturally aspirated engine was lifted from 700 HP (515 kW) to 750 HP (552 kW). The 1,490 kg roadster sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 2.9 seconds and tops out at 220 mph (355 km/h). The 1,450 kg coupe version (limited to three cars) is a tad quicker due to the slightly lower weight and runs the sprint in 2.8 seconds before achieving the same maximum speed.
