Audi's new design chief Marc Lichte provided a glimpse of the company's revised styling language with the Prologue concept unveiled at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show. Shortly after the vehicle made its debut, Audi specified the first model to use the new look will be the flagship A8 set to arrive in 2016 followed shortly by the new A6 (and A7) which has been rendered here by Theophilus Chin.

The A6's design has already been completed alongside the 2016 A8 & 2017 A7 and Lichte said there will be more visual differences between one another. It is believed the overhauled A6 and A7 models will ride on the MLB Evo platform which debuted a short while ago in the second-gen Q7 from where the cars will likely inherit most of the engines while the new architecture should enable a significant weight loss.
