Mercedes has announced several of their vehicles will be prominently featured in Jurassic World.

The company declined to go into specifics but confirmed they created a hand-built GLE 450 AMG Sport for the film. Since the model wasn't unveiled by the time filming took place, Mercedes says there were "huge" security measures to it wasn't caught by photographers - even in remote filming locations on the Hawaiian Islands of Oahu and Kaua’i.

According to Mercedes-Benz Head of Marketing Communications Dr. Jens Thiemer, “We are delighted to have been able to support this epic action-adventure with our vehicles." He added, "Our wide range of SUVs in particular fit perfectly with Jurassic World's various requirements, with the focus on our new trendsetter, the GLE Coupé.”

Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the events in Jurassic Park. It centers around a new amusement park which is already open and has begun conducting genetic experiments on dinosaurs. It opens on June 12th and stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
