German tuner B&B Automobiltechnik has released a power package for the 2015 Volkswagen Passat (B8).

B&B is one of the first tuners to take a stab at modifying the recently introduced all-new VW Passat and their model of choice was the Variant version equipped with the four-cylinder, 2.0-liter bi-turbodiesel engine. In its standard configuration, the engine puts out a generous 240 HP (177 kW) and a torque-tastic 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) from only 1,750 rpm sent to a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system through a new 7-speed DSG transmission.

If that's not enough, B&B is willing to tweak the 2.0 BiTDI engine and boost its output to 300 HP (220 kW) and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft) but it will set you back €3,950. The stock version needs 6.3 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) while the upgraded variant is 0.8s quicker in the sprint.

B&B is also offering a lesser package available for €1,298 which bumps output to 275 HP (202 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft). The added power is possible by increasing the boost pressure by 0.2 bar and also fiddling with the engine's electronics while the full-blown kit also brings optimizations to air induction, airflow and charge air cooling along with a custom stainless steel exhaust.

Matching the added muscle is a suspension lowering kit and several alloy wheel designs available in sizes of 19 and 20 inches which will soon be joined by some custom body enhancements.
