Following last month's teaser, SsangYong has released the first revealing image of their Tivoli subcompact crossover.
A full reveal is scheduled for next month but SsangYong UK jumped the gun by publishing a few pics of the Tivoli on the firm's Facebook account. It looks far more evolved than current SsangYong designs and paves the way for a new styling language that will eventually rub off on the entire lineup. It's a B-segment crossover so it will have to face some stiff competition coming from the Nissan Juke and Renault Captur.
The interior cabin feature the typical South Korean layout and packs seven airbags along with a generous touchscreen display part of the infotainment system. It will also feature a dual-zone climate control system, rearview camera and Bluetooth connectivity.
Underneath the hood are going to be 4-cylinder 1.6-liter gasoline and diesel engines which meet Euro 6 emissions standards but further specifications are not available at this point.
The SsangYong Tivoli is programmed to go on sale at home in South Korean in January while other markets will get it by mid-2015.
