Jalopnik has managed to obtain a render of Nissan's upcoming GT-R LM NISMO set to compete next year at the 24-hour Le Mans endurance race.

Nissan teased the car back in May and is believed a full reveal is programmed for next year's Super Bowl but thanks to a leak we get an early look at the company's LMP1 racer. The vehicle is significantly longer than most of the other LMP1 cars which could indicate we are dealing with a mid-engined car while the rear tires are believed to be narrower than the front ones. As a matter of fact, the front section is reportedly wider than the rear.

In terms of motorization, some are saying it will be a Cosworth V6 Formula One engine with around 600 bhp (447 kW) as part of a hybrid setup with a total output of more than 1,000 bhp (746 kW). However, the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO could end up with a twin-turbocharged V6 gasoline engine with a displacement of up to 2.0 liters and electrical assistance to power both axles.

As previously mentioned, expect Nissan to show the GT-R LM NISMO during the 2015 Super Bowl on February 1.
