German tuner Brabus is presenting their latest project based on the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG.
This isn't their first take on the latest S63 AMG but now Brabus has increased efforts by applying a satin gold exterior finish mixed up with a few carbon fiber aftermarket body parts making the car look slightly more aggressive without being overdone. The appealing exterior color can also be found on the inside where Brabus has installed a 400 km/h speedometer to match the added oomph and they also added a carbon fiber trim.
The S63 AMG still has the twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter engine but it no longer produces 585 HP (430 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) as it was massively reworked by Brabus to deliver an outstanding 850 HP (625 kW) at 5,400 rpm and 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft) of torque in the 2,500 - 4,500 rpm range.
There's no word about performance but surely the S63 AMG by Brabus is quicker than the stock car in rear wheel drive configuration which needs 4.4 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) whereas the 4MATIC model will do it in 4 seconds. Mercedes-Benz is selling the S63 AMG with a 155 mph (250 km/h) electronic top speed limiter but for a previous project Brabus already raised the figure to a capped 202 mph (325 km/h).
