Reiter Engineering have introduced their latest package for the Lamborghini Gallardo GT3.

Based on the Gallardo GT3 FL2 launched in 2013, the Extenso R-EX complies with GT3 regulations but compared to the stock car it's significantly wider at the back. Gone are the rear aluminum side panels as these have been replaced by custom made carbon fiber rear quarter panels. Moreover, Reiter has increased the width of the rear axle by 13cm which means the car now has the maximum permissible width of 205cm.

The Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 seen here also benefits from race camshafts to improve torque curve while fuel consumption is down thanks to new MAHLE pistons that also increase reliability. Other novelties include redesigned headlights and taillights, along with a retuned exhaust which will provide a more appealing sound.

Reiter Engineering says only ten cars will ever be made and these will have either a carbon black or titanium grey finish. Deliveries will start early next year for those willing to pay the €248,000 price tag.
