German tuner VATH has released a power boost package for the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Model Estate facelift.

One of the most powerful mid-size wagons on sale today is the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Model which delivers a massive 585 HP (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) from a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine. It's enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in only 3.7 seconds and an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) which should please most people.

However, for those very few who want more power and a higher top speed, VATH is selling a €24,700 upgrade kit which lifts output to 750 HP (551 kW) and a restricted maximum torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). Once the upgrades are implemented, the high performance wagon will be able to reach a top speed of 220 mph (350 km/h).

The added oomph is possible by altering the turbochargers, installing a custom exhaust and making some electronic engine tweaks. For an extra €1,166 you can install lowering springs which bring the car closer to the road by 20-40mm while racing brake pads are also on the menu. VATH is offering three-piece forged wheels with 265/30 ZR20 front and 305/25 ZR20 rear tires while the carbon fiber front spoiler is an extra €1,416.

Other goodies on the menu include a €238 rear carbon diffuser, €3,927 interior cabin enhancements, €1,297 sports steering wheel and a €1,535 custom speedometer that goes up to 360 km/h.
