Mercedes-Benz Spain organized yesterday a press event in which they shared some juicy details about the AMG Sport lineup.

Our friends at attended the meeting in Barcelona and found out the two cars which will premiere at NAIAS are going to be the C450 AMG Sport and the GLE450 Coupe AMG Sport. Both cars will share a V6 bi-turbo engine which will produce approximately 125 HP (92 kW) less than the full-blown AMG versions.

As a result, the C450 will deliver somewhere in the region of 385 HP (283 kW) if we subtract 125 HP from the C63 AMG S or 351 HP (258 kW) if we do the math based on the standard C63 AMG. As for the GLE Coupe, it will have 433 HP (318 kW) if we do the comparison with the ML63 AMG equipped with the optional AMG Performance Package or 400 HP (294 kW) when compared to the regular ML 63 AMG.

Both cars will premiere at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit which will begin on January 12 with the press preview.
