Female journalists from 15 countries have selected this year's winners of the Women's World Car of the Year awards.

The judges were in charge of voting on ten different criteria: style, appeal, design, function, drive quality, storage, comfort, "wow" factor, sex appeal and value for money. The title for the supreme winner was obtained by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class as it managed to win its category (luxury) and collect the most points overall.

In the overall standings, in second place came the Audi A8 while the Tesla Model S was third. The female journalists were also asked to select a car "they would aspire to own" and they selected the Jaguar F-Type Coupe.
