MG is unfortunately right now only a shadow of its former glory and they are trying to stay afloat in China with several bland models. Their plan is to roll out a production version of last year's CS concept and the car can be seen in these low-res spy images prior to going on sale in the first half of 2015.

Based on the SsangYong Korando, the MG CS crossover looks as expected like a toned down version of the namesake concept and will be offered with a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine delivering 204 bhp (152 kW) to the wheels via a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Chances are a diesel version will be offered in the UK-spec model which will likely come with a 2.0-liter rated at 173 bhp & 360 Nm.

As a final note, judging by the lettering on the rear right side, the model won't be commercialized with the "CS" moniker as it appears to have three letters, with a "T" in the middle.
